Notes
See 1951.2.94 for a similar figurine. The facial style is typical of Post-Classic figurines from the Gulf Coast region as well as Central Mexico (especially the states of Puebla and Morelos). Given that Hartley lived and traveled in the central highlands, it is likely the piece came from Central Mexico.
