Bowl

ca. 100-650 C.E.
Unknown Artist (Nazca Culture)

Notes
The shape and decorative style points to a date during the Nasca IV ceramic phase (350-400 CE). It is curious that Hartley collected this bowl from Peru given his residence in Central Mexico; however, antique dealers in Mexico City at this time were selling Pre-Columbian artifacts from other parts of the Americas.
